The exciting, up and coming, and inspiring ARTe 2016

30 March, 2015

The Metropolitan region of Stuttgart has long awaited this, and we're daring to make it happen! Make note of this must-attend event for all art lovers now. From 14th to 17th January 2016, at Messe Sindelfingen, ARTe will open it's doors and be the first contemporary art fair within the region. Right alongside, at the same time and same place, "Antik & Kunst" ("Antique & Art") will be presenting current contemporary art from select galleries and artists on a total of 3,000 m² on the upper floor of Messe Sindelfingen within the four days.

Openness as a Concept

ARTe sees itself as an open platform for artists. Established and up and coming galleries and freelance artists will offer the public a fascinating spectrum of visual contemporary art in an impressive range.
For visitors to be there at ARTe is a cultural experience in and of itself. Open and aesthetically coordinated presentation areas are in a stimulating atmosphere and sculptures with their own exhibit areas interplay together to create an inspiring artistic synthesis. Appealing culinary options, soothing relaxation areas, and a professional packing service make the art experience perfect.

Art of the Region

ARTe is committed to its roots in the metropolitan region of Stuttgart and has therefore preferable (but not exclusively) invited galleries and artists from the region. In addition to the presentation area for the established artists, ARTe also offers up and coming, still in training talented artists, regional artists and professional working self-taught artists their first exhibit area opportunities. Exhibit areas created specifically for them will be located in the spacious pavilion of Messe Sindelfingen where self-judging regional art associations and schools will be presenting.

In addition, ARTe has brought the charity campaign ART4Kids into being. Proceeds from this campaign will be donated to regional art therapeutic facilities for children.

For the execution of ARTe 2016 we were able to win over the gallery owner and artist Andreas Kerstan from Backnang. Mr. Kerstan is taking over the artistic and textual responsibility for the design, planning and implementation of ARTe and will be available for questions. Please contact:
